This is your role in Janet's WEB.

If you are a business owner, you will create a clientele for your business by joining our organization.  You will also learn and acquire tools to assist in the success of your business.  You may, but not necessarily, offer a special for members.  You may use utilize Janet's WEB as part of your marketing strategy.  A business owner is an entity that is acknowledged by both the City of Winnipeg (licensing branch), Province of Manitoba (companies office and finance), and the Federal Government of Canada (CCRA) (if applicable).

If you are a consultant for a commercial product, you may find that networking with members will build your clientele and awareness for your product, as it may be unique and not easily found in the mainstream market.  You will utilize Janet's WEB as a platform to feature your product.  You may, but not necessarily, offer a special for members or offer members samples of your product.  Members will be informed of any demonstrations or informational presentations that you may have to offer.

If you are a business employee of a company or corporation, you may require our members to create awareness of your services.  Members may require your services or enhance existing products or services with what your company has to offer.

If you are an employee of a government entity or similar organization thereof, you may become an informational vehicle for our members and also gather, for yourself, the benefits of belonging to a unique organization, such as Janet's WEB.  Members will have your name and contact information from the WEBSP (Women in Entrepreneurship and in Business Sisterhood Portfolio).  If any members have specific questions or require guidance, they will utilize your services for answer and direction.  There will be absolutely no expectation of preferential treatment.  If you plan to join our organization, your supervisor will be notified of your membership and permission must be granted for you to be accepted.  We require this extra step, to ensure that everyone is clear and aware of your position with Janet's WEB, and that it is only for information (Q&A) that you are providing our members and nothing further.
